About Laura Frederick
Laura Frederick spent 25+ years negotiating commercial contracts in Big Law and cutting edge companies like Tesla.
In August 2020, she started teaching what she had learned.
Not the academic version of contract law, but the version that works when you are sitting across from opposing counsel trying to close a deal. Lawyers and contract pros responded.

FAQs
Why pay for this when I can ask Claude or the AI tool at my company?
AI tools can explain what an indemnification clause is. They cannot tell you when to push back, what carve-outs matter, or what the other side will accept. They also make things up. Every answer in our library comes from a real expert, either Laura Frederick or someone she trusts to share their expertise with this community. I have been doing this for 15 years. Will I learn anything?
Almost certainly. Most experienced people have deep knowledge in the areas they work in every day and real gaps in everything else. Is there a monthly option?
No. Our membership only offers annual plans because building real contract skill requires ongoing professional development, not a quick fix. Our pricing reflects that.
Can I earn CLE credits?
Yes. We are an accredited CLE sponsor for our live courses and webinars. You may also be able to earn CLE credits for self-study time spent in our recorded courses and the library. We provide the documentation needed to apply in your jurisdiction. Note that we can't guarantee eligibility for any particular jurisdiction.
How much time does it take?
The membership is self-paced. Courses run about two hours each and break into short lessons, and the library answers questions in the moment as your work raises them. Members who treat it as ongoing professional development, a few hours a month, see the biggest gains.
Do you offer team accounts?
