Contracts hold a lot of information about a company's obligations, risk, renewals, pricing, compliance commitments, and promises made to customers and vendors. Most of it stays buried in the documents. Legal can usually pull up a single agreement when someone asks, but questions across the portfolio are harder. Which contracts auto-renew next quarter? Where did we accept uncapped liability? Which customer agreements include security commitments we need to track? For many teams, answering means pulling agreements one at a time. Legal ends up reacting to requests without a clear view of what needs attention first.
This webinar covers practical ways legal teams can turn contract terms into information they can search, report on, and rely on. The panel will cover which data points matter most and how teams use technology to extract and organize terms across a portfolio. They'll also cover how to use that information to prioritize legal's work, including upcoming renewals, compliance obligations, and recurring non-standard terms. They'll also discuss how contract data helps legal give finance, sales, and procurement faster answers. Finally, they'll address how to judge whether the data is reliable enough to act on, including when an attorney still needs to go back to the source documents.
